Product Description:
The CDB01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-EN2-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW is a motion-control electronics module engineered by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CDB Control Units series. Installed in a drive cabinet, the module links the main power section of an IndraDrive system with higher-level controllers, generating setpoints and evaluating feedback to close the servo loop. It is intended to coordinate paired servomotor axes in pick-and-place stations, gantry tables, and other automated cells that require synchronized positioning. This role allows one control unit to manage tightly timed machine motion while supporting stable speed regulation and accurate position tracking during repeated cycles.
The analog input span is ±10 V, and the high input resistance of 160 kΩ helps prevent loading of connected sensor sources. The analog output channel delivers 5 V/1 mA to downstream devices for command signaling. Internally, the unit exchanges cyclic data over the optical SERCOS II ring, while four encoder sockets accept EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, or 5 V TTL signals to provide position feedback for each drive. Discrete machine states are accepted through digital inputs rated 24 V/3 mA and reported through outputs rated 24 V/0.5 A. The controller draws a control supply of 24 V and dissipates only 9 W at base load, which helps keep panel heat generation low.
During startup, the electronics withstand a peak inrush duration of 60 ms and a typical current of 6 A. After charging, the En2 encoder supply remains steady at 350 mA for each feedback channel, which supports reliable operation of connected feedback devices. The integrated Safety Technology I/O circuit permits safe torque-off and category-based stop functions without external relays. A form-C relay is available for field signaling and can switch DC 24 V at 1 A to actuate contactors or lamps.
