Product Description:
The CDB01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-EN2-EN2-NN-S-NN-FW is a modular control unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the CDB Control Units series. It is intended for mounting in drive racks where it governs up to two motion axes, issuing parameterized drive commands and handling local I/O for coordinated machine sequences. By combining fieldbus communication, encoder evaluation, and relay signaling on one card, the unit supports packaging lines, pick-and-place stations, and material-handling gantries where multiple motion functions must be coordinated from a compact drive rack. This arrangement makes the unit suitable for applications that need feedback processing and local signal handling without separate interface boards.
The unit exchanges real-time setpoints with the drive through SERCOS II, and a front-mounted standard control panel provides local access to status and diagnostics. Each analog channel is processed by an 8-bit converter with a resolution of 19.5 mV/inc, and the voltage-limited output provides 5 V at 1 mA for reference generation to external devices. Digital inputs accept a nominal level of 24 V / 3 mA, and the eight transistor outputs can source up to 500 mA per channel for valve coils or indicator lamps. Four encoder slots accept EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, or 5 V TTL feedback, and probe inputs capture edge positions with a minimum pulse width of 4 µs so short trigger signals can be detected reliably.
Parameter data can be uploaded through the integrated RS232 port, and a group output supplies up to 1000 mA for auxiliary sensors. A Form C relay provides switching capacity of DC 24 V / 1 A for interlocks and other low-power switching tasks. The card does not include dedicated onboard safety circuits, so higher-level safety functions are handled by external devices. This keeps the module focused on motion control, feedback handling, and local signal exchange inside the rack.
