Bosch Rexroth is the leading manufacturer of solutions in the motion and logic industry, with the CDB series being one of these. The CDB control sections have a wide range of functions. They are used in handling and mounting systems, packaging and food machines, printing and paper processing machines, and machine tools. They differ based on their configurability, available interfaces, and pulse frequencies.
The CDB01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-EN2-EN2-NN-S-NN-FW is equipped with a standard control panel which is used to set the transmission power of the SERCOS interface, carry out an extended diagnosis, and trigger simple commands. The control panel has a single-line display that shows operating states, command and error diagnoses, and pending warnings. This control section is also equipped with four encoder evaluation interfaces for encoders with a supply voltage of 5V. Its connections and terminals between 5V and 50V are protective extra-low voltage systems and they serve as a protection against electric shock. They also allow for connection to devices with basic insulation. This CDB model is easily removable, but it should not be mounted and unmounted more than 20 times.
The communication module of the CDB01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-EN2-EN2-NN-S-NN-FW is the SERCOS interface which is connected to other control units by fiber optic cables. These fiber optic cables ensure safe data exchange and can be ordered separately from Bosch Rexroth. The power supply of the control section is via the terminal connectors 24V and 0V at the power section. Its connection points are equipped with spring terminals and screw terminal blocks. The spring terminals can be wired with wire ends equipped with or without ferrules, while the screw terminal blocks are wired with wire ends with ferrules. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
