Product Description:
The CDB01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-EN1-EN1-S1-S-NN-FW is a compact control section manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the CDB Control Units series. Mounted on an IndraDrive power module, it converts high-level PLC instructions into finely timed drive commands for servo axes used in conveyors, pick-and-place gantries, and packaging lines. Two sensor channels, an onboard motion processor, and multiple fieldbus ports allow the card to close position, speed, and torque loops inside the cabinet while maintaining tight synchronization with the plant controller.
During normal operation the board draws a base power of 9 W, which helps limit cabinet heat. Each analog reference can source up to 1 mA or output a precise ± 5 V signal for external actuators. Command data and drive status are exchanged over the SERCOS II interface; the fiber ring is clocked internally at 16 MBaud, while an auxiliary RS-232 port supports diagnostic communication up to 115 kBaud. For plant networks, the 100Base-TX engineering port provides parameter access over Ethernet and supports service communication. One digital output channel can supply 500 mA to drive relays or contactors, and channel timing is locked to the SERCOS cycle so deterministic reactions are possible.
The remaining output lanes are grouped together and may deliver up to 1000 mA in total, allowing multiple opto-isolators or lamp stacks to be switched without external amplifiers. Encoder slot 1 supplies Hall-sensor feedback with 250 mA from a stabilized 8 V rail, and its resolver exciter runs at 4 kHz to obtain noise-tolerant angle data. Encoder slot 2 offers 5.0 V logic with 350 mA for SSI or incremental encoders that need TTL levels. The two feedback ports support mixed sensor technologies and keep encoder supply functions separated for stable signal handling and consistent feedback operation under variable machine loads.
