The CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-EN2-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is a modular control section manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CDB Control Units series. Inserted in a Rexroth drive rack, it supervises power sections and field devices so that two servo axes can be positioned and synchronized inside an automated cell. By handling real-time feedback from multiple encoder formats and routing command data to power modules, the unit forms the logical core of an IndraDrive motion system used on packaging lines, material handling frames, and machining equipment.
This version supports two axes and exchanges motion commands over SERCOS II; its maximum ring velocity reaches 16 MBaud so cycle updates remain deterministic. A single analog channel supplies 5 V / 1 mA, allowing a speed reference or diagnostic output to a PLC. Twelve discrete inputs are rated for 24 V / 3 mA, accepting limit switches or start commands with minimal loading on external sensors. For encoder channel 1, the card accepts resolver or HSF signals; the HSF path draws 250 mA from an 8 V DC supply, while resolver tracking is clocked at 4 kHz and excited by an 18.2 Vpp carrier. This arrangement allows the first axis to alternate between coarse resolver feedback and high-resolution HSF feedback without hardware changes.
The second feedback slot uses an EN2 board that supplies 350 mA at 5.0 V DC, matching the load of EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, or 5 V TTL encoders. Safety interlocks can be wired to a form-C relay rated at DC 24 V / 1 A for direct brake or contactor control. Parameter backups and service communication pass through the RS-232 maintenance port, which supports point-to-point links up to 115 kBaud over cables no longer than 15 m. This gives the unit a second powered encoder channel, a hardware relay for machine-enable chains, and a local service interface.
