The Bosch Rexroth CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-EN2-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW is a digital control section. It is one of the main components that make up a complete IndraDrive controller. The other components include a power section, control panel and firmware. The CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-EN2-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW belongs to the category of basic universal control sections. It is designed specifically for double-axis applications. The unit is configurable and works with a standard control panel. The CDB series devices are modular and can accommodate optional modules to match customer requirements. Four slots on the CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-EN2-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW can accommodate optional modules and one slot can accommodate a safety module. The optional modules installed on the CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-EN2-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW include two encoder HSF/RSF module and one encoder EnDat 2.1 module. One slot for optional modules is unoccupied. The safety module slot has a module that supports starting lockout.
Four options for master communication are available for CDB series control sections: MultiEthernet, Profibus, SERCOS III and SERCOS. The CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-EN2-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW supports SERCOS master communication. SERCOS is a standard for high-speed serial communication. It uses fiber optic cables as the physical medium for data transmission. The nodes on a SERCOS network are arranged in ring topology. Data rates supported by the standard include 2 Mbps and 4 Mbps. The SERCOS III standard is compatible with Ethernet and supports 100 Mbps full-duplex communication. To ensure that the control section supports all required features, its firmware is ordered separately from the hardware. The firmware is identified by the firmware type label that is attached to the unit. The CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-EN2-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW mounts vertically and is designed for 0 to 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. To minimize wiring and other errors, only trained and experienced personnel should install the device. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
