The Bosch CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-EN2-EN2-S2-S-NN-FW is a CDB series digital control section. It is comprised of a basic unit with slots for optional modules and integrated interfaces. All the slots and interfaces are situated on the front panel of the device. Slot 1 on the CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-EN2-EN2-S2-S-NN-FW features an encoder HSF / RSF module. Slot 2 on the device also features an encoder HSF / RSF module. This type of encoder module is designed for motor encoder systems that operate at 8 Volts DC or 18.2 Volts AC peak-to-peak. It enables controller use with MKD motors with analog resolvers and MHD motors with digital encoders. The module interface is female 15-pin D-sub designed for stranded copper wires measuring 0.25 to 0.5 mm2. Slot 3 on the CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-EN2-EN2-S2-S-NN-FW features an encoder EnDat 2.1 module.
Slot 4 on the device also features an encoder EnDat 2.1 module. This type of encoder module is used with encoder systems that work at 5 Volts DC. The module interface is female 15-pin D-sub designed for stranded copper wires measuring 0.25 to 1.0 mm2. The CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-EN2-EN2-S2-S-NN-FW also features a safety module that support safe motion. This safety module enables various application-related safety functions including safe stop 1, safe maximum speed, safely-monitored position, safe parking axis, safe stop 1 (braked) and many others. The CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-EN2- EN2-S2-S-NN-FW is optimized for double-axis applications. It can be configured via a standard control panel. Master communication interface on the CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-EN2-EN2-S2-S-NN-FW is SERCOS, which is a standard for real-time serial communication over fiber optic cables. SERCOS supports 2 / 4 Mbps data rates. Upgraded versions of the standard support 100 Mbps data rates. The nodes on the a SERCOS network are arranged in ring topology.
