Control sections from Bosch Rexroth are designed for use in single and multi-axis drive and control tasks. They are an important part of the IndraDrive controllers which are used to control electrical motors and monitor their operation. The control section in the CDB series differs from one another based on configurability, available interfaces, and pulse frequencies. They have a wide range of applications including handling and mounting systems, packaging, and food machines, printing, and paper processing machines, and machine tools.
The CDB01.1C-S3-ENS-ENS-NNN-MA1-S2-S-NN-FW is a BASIC UNIVERSAL configurable double-axis control section of the CDB series. Its master communication is via the SERCOS III interface, an Ethernet-based communication bus system with a minimum cycle time of 1000 microseconds. The SERCOS III interface has different display elements that show the state of the network. It has two optional modules for encoder evaluations for encoder systems of IndraDyn motors with a 12 V power supply. It has an analog input/output extension which equips it with analog channels of better resolution. This extension consists of two differential analog input channels and two analog output channels.
The connections and terminals of the CDB01.1C-S3-ENS-ENS-NNN-MA1-S2-S-NN-FW with a voltage between 5 V and 50 V are protective extra-low voltage terminals that protect the user from electric shock. The protective extra-low voltage system also allows the control section to be used with devices with basic insulation such as display units, PCs, and notebooks.
