The CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is a motion-control card built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CDB Control Units series. Installed in an IndraDrive housing, it supervises two servo axes and interfaces directly with higher-level automation over a fiber-optic ring. The board issues setpoints, monitors feedback, and processes safety signals, allowing coordinated positioning tasks without additional standalone controllers. Because it occupies a drive slot rather than a remote panel, wiring distances are shortened and electromagnetic noise on sensor lines is minimized.

The card communicates with upper-level devices through SERCOS III and forwards position data via an EnDat 2.1 / 1 Vpp / 5 V TTL encoder port. Two analog channels can source up to 1 mA or swing to 5 V for reference generation. Digital inputs register an ON state at 15 V, while the transistorized outputs can switch loads up to 500 mA. Mechanical endurance reaches 1 × 10⁸ operations, which supports long service intervals in indexing machinery. A front-panel D-sub port provides RS-232 diagnostics over cable runs to 15 m, providing direct access to parameter lists without disturbing the real-time network. The unit can drive contactors, read short probe pulses, and stream status data while the motion loop remains closed inside the drive chassis.
