Bosch Rexroth’s control sections are designed for use in single and multi-axis drive and control tasks. They differ based on their configurability, the available interfaces, and switching frequencies. The CDB01 control sections from Bosch Rexroth are essential parts of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive controllers. They can be used across different fields like handling and mounting systems, packaging and food machines, printing and paper processing machines, and machine tools.
The CDB01.1C-S3-EN1-EN1-EN2-EN2-S2-S-NN-FW is a configurable BASIC UNIVERSAL control section with double axes. Its master communication is via SERCOS III, an Ethernet-based communication bus system with a minimum cycle time of 1000 µs. It also corresponds to the IEE 802.3 standard. The SERCOS III module has different display elements that show the state of the network. This control section has two optional encoder interfaces for evaluating resolver and encoder systems like the HSF interface used in MKD, MKE, and MHD motors. There are two other encoder evaluation slots on the control section for encoder systems with a 5V supply voltage.
The standard control panel of the CDB01.1C-S3-EN1-EN1-EN2-EN2-S2-S-NN-FW has a single line display and is used to configure the SERCOS III network. This standard control panel is also used to explore the error or fault memory, set the drive address, set the analog outputs, and establish the position data reference. Parameters necessary for the operation of the control section are stored on a memory card in the plugin module slot on the drive. The memory card reads and stores data that can be transferred to other control units. The parameters on the Multimedia Card can also be the firmware, which is purchased as a separate subitem.
