The CDB01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is a modular control unit manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the CDB Control Units series. It mounts inside a drive assembly and provides network, encoder, and I/O interfaces so that motion axes can be supervised and commanded in automated machinery. By combining fieldbus connectivity with analog and digital signal handling, the unit forms the communication bridge between higher-level controllers and the connected power electronics.

Two analog outputs deliver a maximum current of 1 mA at up to 5 V; these channels set low-power reference values for connected sensors. Each digital input draws 3 mA and is rated for a nominal level of 24 V, while logic becomes true once 15 V is reached. The module can source 500 mA on its digital output stage, allowing direct actuation of relays. An internal encoder rail provides 500 mA at 11.6 V so both ENS encoder ports for Axis 1 and Axis 2 receive stable power. PROFIBUS exchange is handled through an integrated D-Sub connector, and an RS232 port is available for service. This model does not include embedded safety functions.

Input and encoder circuits draw from a shared I/O rail rated at 1.1 A, which simplifies cabinet power planning because the control unit does not require an additional auxiliary supply. When higher current loads are switched, an onboard relay contact supports DC voltages up to 24 V / 1 A, providing an isolated path for interlock feedback or alarm lamps. The PROFIBUS link terminates on a D-Sub 9-pin female socket, eliminating the need for proprietary cabling and allowing connection through standard fieldbus hardware. With both axes served by ENS incremental encoder interfaces, the board is intended for deterministic fieldbus exchange and reliable signal conditioning.
