The Rexroth IndraDrive drive system designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth is one of the leading automation solutions in the world. Its components include state-of-the-art servo motors, power units like inverters and converters, and control units. The CDB01 is a family of control section models in this system used to control electrical motors and monitor their operations. They are double-axis units in the BASIC UNIVERSAL control section range with applications such as handling and mounting systems, food processing and packaging machines, and printing and paper processing machines.
The CDB01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-ENS-ENS-S2-S-NN-FW is one of the highly functional configurable control sections in Bosch Rexroth’s CDB01 series. This model’s master control communication interface is PROFIBUS, a fieldbus interface that has been used for different kinds of automation solutions through the years. The control section also features four standard encoder interfaces through which encoders with a 12V supply voltage can be connected to it. The encoders include the encoder system of the MSK motors of the IndraDyn S motors, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface interface, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track.
With the Safe Motion safety technology module of the CDB01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-ENS-ENS-S2-S-NN-FW, it offers application-related safety technology functions like safe maximum speed, safely-limited speed, safely-limited increment, safe direction, and safely-monitored position. Its maximum pulse width is 60ms, and its typical inrush current value is 6A. The control section also has a standard control panel for operations like setting the drive address, determining the position data reference, initiating the basic load defaults process, and setting the analog outputs. The control panel is not suited for hot plug. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
