The CDB01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-ENS-ENS-L2-S-NN-FW is a compact control section from the CDB Control Units series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Installed in an IndraDrive modular drive, it manages position, velocity, and torque loops for multi-axis machinery. As the supervisory circuit in the drive, it coordinates command handling and feedback interpretation so the connected power stage can respond to changing load conditions with stable motion control. It also processes fieldbus communication over PROFIBUS, allowing the control section to exchange motion and diagnostic data with higher-level automation systems while keeping the hardware layout compact.

This control section controls 2 axes, making it suitable for dual-motor stations that need one control platform for coordinated motion. Line energization draws a base inrush of 6 A, while steady logic operation is limited to 9 W, which helps with power distribution and thermal planning inside the enclosure. Encoder evaluation is handled by a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter through a D-Sub 15 female connector with an input resistance of 120 ohms. The input stage is conditioned with a cutoff frequency of 500 kHz, and the sensor interface also supplies 11.6 V to the transducer for direct feedback support.

The encoder supply can deliver up to 500 mA, and the onboard 24 V source can provide as much as 1.1 A for auxiliary I/O devices such as limit switches or light curtains. Functional safety is supported by Safe Torque Off through a D-Sub 9-pin female connector, and this circuit removes gate drive signals within a maximum pulse width of 60 ms. When the safety channel is triggered, torque-producing pulses are disabled without depending on software control. A relay rated at 24 VDC / 1 A is also provided for machine interlocks, giving the unit a practical interface for low-power external switching tasks.
