The CDB01.1C-PB-ENS-EN2-NNN-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW is a control board in the CDB Control Units series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Mounted on an IndraDrive power section, it provides signal conditioning, PROFIBUS communication, and Safe Motion monitoring for servo axes used in automated machinery. The integrated fieldbus port links motion hardware to PLC controllers, while onboard safety logic supervises velocity and position so that commanded stops and emergency faults are carried out in a controlled manner. Acting as the interface between plant-level commands and drive power stages, the board supports repeatable motion on packaging equipment, transfer systems, and other automated axes.

The power front end tolerates an inrush current of 6 A for approximately 60 ms, allowing capacitors to charge without overloading the 24 V supply. After startup, base consumption is limited to 9 W, which helps reduce heat inside compact cabinets and control enclosures. Fieldbus traffic moves over PROFIBUS-DP at up to 12 MBaud, and its dedicated module uses only 2 W, so cyclic data exchange adds little thermal load during normal operation. Safe Motion functions also include a 0.5 A safety output and an internal relay rated at 24 VDC / 1 A to disconnect torque when monitored limits are exceeded.

The board supports two encoder channels for feedback devices. The ENS rail supplies 11.6 VDC with a current limit of 500 mA, while the EN2 rail provides 5.0 VDC up to 350 mA and supports receivers with a 35 Ω load. Each channel is limited to 6 W to control self-heating during operation. This arrangement lets the control section power common feedback devices directly while remaining within typical 24 V control power budgets used in assembly and material-handling systems.
