By supervising command processing, feedback evaluation, and fieldbus exchange, the board delivers deterministic setpoints to drives that move packaging axes, handling robots, or machining tables while occupying minimal cabinet depth. It acts as the central processor inside the drive stack rather than as a power-switching stage.
At its analog front end, the controller presents an input resistance of 160 kΩ, allowing voltage followers or sensor cards to couple without loading their sources. An isolated analog output is rated at 5 V / 1 mA for speed or torque references to legacy drives. Base electronics consume only 9 W, so thermal rise inside the enclosure remains low. Network communication is handled over PROFIBUS, while a standard control panel offers local parameter access. Eight digital inputs accept a nominal 24 V / 3 mA signal.
