Bosch Rexroth Indramat produced the CDB01.1C-ET-NNN-NNN-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW, a plug-in control card in the CDB Control Units series for IndraDrive modular drives. The board serves as the central processing layer between motion controllers and power inverters by handling axis regulation, fieldbus communication, and local I/O tasks. In an automation cabinet, it supports motion sequencing, parameter storage, and diagnostic access for servo or spindle drives used in packaging, handling, and machine-tool applications. Its plug-in format keeps the control functions separate from the power stage while allowing both sections to operate as one coordinated drive system.
The board accepts differential command signals over an analog input range of ±10 V, and its input resistance of 160 kΩ keeps the upstream source lightly loaded while helping reject electrical noise. For reference generation or monitoring, an isolated analog output is rated at 5 V / 1 mA. Motion and diagnostic data are exchanged through a Multi-Ethernet interface that supports the 100Base-TX physical layer, so standard CAT5e cabling can be used for runs up to 100 m. An RS232 service port is also available for local access, while the control electronics draw logic power from an external 24 V DC supply and protective circuitry limits transient input pulse width to 60 ms.
An internal terminal block helps route wiring for both axes and shared peripherals inside the drive assembly. The unit can regulate two servo drives at the same time through its Double-Axis configuration, and discrete sensors or solenoids can be supplied by the combined I/O rail rated at 24 V / 0.5 A. During startup, inrush current peaks at 6 A, after which normal operation requires only 9 W of power. Additional connections include a 24 V / 3 mA probe input for touch-trigger sensing and a 24 V / 1 A relay contact for brake release, and any required safety functions must be provided by external hardware.
