The CDB01.1C-ET-ENS-ENS-EN1-EN1-L2-S-NN-FW is a compact control section engineered by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CDB Control Units series. Installed in Rexroth IndraDrive modular amplifiers, it serves as the command layer that processes feedback, fieldbus data, and internal diagnostics so that two servo axes can be synchronized with the machine cycle. By accepting encoder feedback and issuing PWM gate signals, the board enables precise torque, velocity, and position regulation in packaging, printing, and material-handling lines.
Each command channel includes an analog interface with an input resistance of 160 kΩ, and this high impedance minimizes loading on external sensors. Conversion occurs in steps of 1.23 mV/inc, giving the controller fine control over reference values. When the application must retransmit a processed variable, the board can source up to 1 mA from its voltage-scaled analog output. Discrete actuators are driven by transistors that permit 500 mA per output, while the group limit is 1000 mA and the 24 V I/O rail can supply 1.1 A. A startup surge of 6 A lasts 60 ms before settling at base load. The probe input captures position data with a 4 µs strobe, and four feedback channels are available—two for IndraDyn or Hiperface encoders and two for MKD or MHD resolver signals—so legacy and current motors can share the same drive rack.
The unit manages 2 coordinated axes over the Multi-Ethernet backplane and exchanges cyclic data with SERCOS III, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET controllers.
