The CDB01.1C-ET-ENS-EN2-NNN-MEM-S2-S-NN-FW is one of the latest and most sophisticated productions of Rexroth Indramat; this drive controller features novel technological designs and can meet the motor control requirements of a wide range of industrial machines such as food processing machines, metal forming machines, and lots more. The housing of this industrial drive controller is specially designed to prevent the interference of larger solid materials with the operation of the controller; however, it offers no protection against liquid interference; for optimum protection, the controller should be installed in an external control cabinet that meets at least the IP54 protection class. This industrial controller is designed to be safe for industrial applications; however, the configuration of the controller with the wrong parameters and wiring connection can cause dangerous movements of motors present in the servo system.

The CDB01.1C-ET-ENS-EN2-NNN-MEM-S2-S-NN-FW industrial drive controller is also a self-diagnostic device as it can independently detect operational error and alert operators by displaying an appropriate error message on the display unit present on its control panel. This industrial drive controller connects to the motor through two main electrical cables, the power cable, and the motor feedback cable; these cables must meet the international quality standards; they must also be wired separately to prevent electrical interference. The exchange of digital information between this drive controller and all other parts of the servo system is done according to the Multi-Ethernet communication protocol, which is renowned for its speed and efficiency.

This drive controller is designed to be operated at an ambient temperature that falls between 0 to about 45 degrees Celsius; however, if the drive controller is not required for immediate operation, it can be stored at a temperature as high as 75 degrees Celsius.
