Product Description:
The CDB01.1C-ET-EN1-EN2-NNN-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW is a modular control section manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CDB Control Units series. Installed on an IndraDrive power module, it forms the command core that interprets motion setpoints, evaluates encoder feedback, and exchanges data with higher-level PLCs. In automated packaging, material-handling, or printing lines, the board links servo drives to plant networks and coordinates deterministic positioning, velocity, and torque loops. This arrangement separates motion processing from the power stage so closed-loop control and communication can be handled within the same drive platform.
Designed for multi-motor installations, the board supervises 2 axes with synchronized updates from its internal motion kernel. Analog references exit through a programmable 5 V output channel, while local peripherals draw from a dedicated 24 VDC I/O rail that can supply up to 1.1 A. Fieldbus traffic is handled by a Multi-Ethernet interface, and the copper port complies with the 100Base-TX standard for use with common twisted-pair network cabling. Discrete control points follow the IEC 61131 Type 1 definition, giving the digital inputs and outputs predictable switching behavior for interlock and diagnostic tasks.
Feedback management is split across two connectors: one accepts signals from MHD or MKD motor encoders, and the other processes EnDat 2.1 data streams. Both channels use 5 V TTL logic and can also carry a differential 1 Vpp sine-cosine signal, allowing the control section to process more than one feedback format without external conversion hardware. Hardware redundancy supports the Safe Torque Off function; asserting the STO line disables gate drive without altering parameters. A standard RS232 port offers textual diagnostics, and a MultiMediaCard slot stores user settings. The safety interface uses a D-Sub 9-pin female connector for interlock wiring, and twisted-pair runs up to 100 m are allowed between the Ethernet port and the next network device without repeaters.
