Product Description:
The CDB01.1C-ET-EN1-EN1-NNN-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW control unit is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the CDB Control Units series. Installed on an IndraDrive power section, it operates as the command processor that links feedback devices, local inputs and outputs, and field networks. By managing motion profiles and local signals, it enables precise drive coordination in automated assembly, packaging, and material-handling equipment. It also centralizes communication tasks for the attached power section, which helps streamline the drive layout inside compact cabinets.
This model supervises 2 axes, while high-level networking is handled by a Multi-Ethernet interface that uses the 100Base-TX physical layer for host communication. Logic electronics draw from a DC 24 V control supply, and the configured power demand remains at 25.2 W, easing cabinet power calculations. Digital outputs can switch 24 V at 0.5 A, and an additional relay contact is available for 24 V DC loads up to 1 A. Resolver or HSF encoders are supported by a dedicated interface, allowing mixed feedback topologies on the same platform and giving the machine builder flexibility when different motor feedback types are already in use.
Two analog channels provide a nominal range of 5 V / 1 mA with a resolution of 19.5 mV/inc, suitable for speed, torque, or process-value references. AC resolver excitation is delivered at 18.2 Vpp and 4 kHz, while the HSF track receives a stabilized 8 V source able to supply 250 mA. System safety is addressed by a built-in starting lockout function that prevents unintended motion until enabling conditions are met. Inrush demand peaks at 6 A when the 24 V rail is applied, a value that is useful when sizing protective devices and control wiring. These analog and encoder functions allow the unit to accept reference signals and feedback inputs without requiring separate interface cards in many standard drive layouts.
