Inserted into an IndraDrive power section, it handles command processing, feedback evaluation, and fieldbus exchange so the drive can position or regulate a connected axis. In an automation line, this board supplies encoder power, issues analog setpoints, and provides relay signaling, allowing coordinated motion without adding a standalone PLC communication card.
The board draws a base power of 9 W from the DC bus, a value that stays constant while logic tasks run. Two analog outputs deliver 1 mA at a nominal 5 V, giving a simple voltage or current reference for external actuators. A combined 1000 mA low-voltage rail supports sensors and status LEDs. Control communication is handled through a Multi-Ethernet interface, so it can support protocols such as EtherNet/IP or PROFINET.
