The model CDB01.1C-ET-EN2-EN2-NNN-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW of the Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive Control Section is used inside a drive controller which has various drive component clearly marked with a type designation. Along with it, a type plate is fixed to all the devices for making proper connections. The CDB01 part of the model name indicates that it is a double axis basic universal control section range which is configurable. The control section has multiple ports for both analog and digital inputs and outputs, accommodating for all types of connections. It has 3 frequencies (2 kHz, 4kHz, 8 kHz) to switch to according to the speed required for the task. The 2 digital input ports have a safety technology feature to protect the device from any currents or shocks.

The digital input and output ports require external supply voltage at the specified ports marked on the device. It is ideal to use a protective diode to shield the module from any hazards due to polarity reversal of the supply voltage and any wrong connection. The digital inputs are arranged parallel to the analog inputs to reduce the input resistance and power consumption. Option 3 and 4 are not equipped in this model which is the ports just above the memory slot.

Other basic features of this model are the firmware outsourcing as it does not come along with the control driver, the standard, single line digital control panel to control and diagnose the errors in the control driver. It is recommended that any conductive parts must be completely drained out of charge to avoid is interference with the control section. Also, mounting and dismounting the control section for more than 20 times will pose a hazard to the performance of the driver controller.
