The CCD01.1-KE09-02-FW motion controller enclosure is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CCD Motion Controllers series. It is a stand-alone card cage that provides mechanical support and electrical distribution to a central logic card and associated daughter boards. In automated machinery, the unit acts as the mounting platform that links a motion CPU to field-level I/O and drive modules through the system backplane. By supplying regulated power and organized slot access, it helps coordinate axis commands, feedback processing, and sequencing tasks on assembly lines and material-handling cells. The open card-cage layout also keeps the installed modules accessible and arranged in an orderly way inside the control cabinet.
The backplane inside the cage is energized from a 24 VDC bus, so internal regulators can feed logic and indicator circuits without additional supplies. Slot one accepts the control processor card type CLC-D02.3, and three further locations can be populated with I/O adapters such as DEA28.1M. A maximum of 3 DEA cards can be installed, which keeps the controller within its intended thermal and power limits. The chassis has 4 module slots, allowing a predictable arrangement of processor, communication, and discrete interface boards. This fixed layout helps keep card placement straightforward when the enclosure is integrated into a larger automation system.
Additional I/O density is achieved by inserting DEA29.1M or DEA30.1M boards into the open sockets, enabling extra digital channels without altering the wiring layout. Incoming power is delivered through connector X1, and operational state can be checked visually through LED H1 mounted on the front plane of the cage. The enclosure is intended to house CLC-D and daughter boards, so its internal guides and header pins match the card-edge geometry of those modules. Because it uses a stand-alone form factor, the assembly can be fastened directly to machine panels or installed inside larger controller racks. This arrangement supports orderly expansion when additional interface cards are needed for the application.
