Product Description:
The BTV20.3SA-56B-45C-S-FW operator panel is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the BTV20 Machine Operator Panels series. As part of an automation cell, the panel combines a display, keyboard, and communications in one housing so a controller can be configured, monitored, and commanded directly at the machine. It serves as the human-machine interface for Indramat drives and PLCs, giving direct access to parameters, diagnostics, and program selection during production. This arrangement keeps operating screens and manual input together on the same front-mounted unit.
Its computing core runs at at least 700 MHz, providing enough processing margin for visualization tasks, quick screen refreshes, and routine interface handling. The same baseboard integrates RS485, so field devices such as frequency inverters or I/O stations can exchange data over a noise-tolerant serial link. Power is supplied through an input of AC 115 to 230 V, and the tolerated mains frequency of 50 to 60 Hz covers common industrial grid standards. Volatile storage consists of 256 MB of RAM, which leaves room for active interface data, part programs, and trend buffers without relying on slower external memory.
Operator interaction is streamlined by 16 machine function keys that can be mapped to frequently used cycles or alarms, reducing repeated menu navigation during normal operation. Nonvolatile data is loaded through the Smart Card interface, a removable medium that simplifies changeovers and backs up system images for later use. The panel is Design 3, and its function type is classified as ISP, confirming that it handles integrated screen and keyboard processing without a remote computer. A standard keyboard surrounds the function keys to support alphanumeric entry for names, values, and command data.
