The BTV20.3SA-24B-55C-D-FW operator panel is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the BTV20 Machine Operator Panels series. It is part of product line 20 in the BTV panel range. Intended for CNC and PLC installations, the unit combines a screen, keypad, and communication ports so that machining centers and automated cells can accept local commands, display diagnostics, and exchange status information with higher-level controllers. Because the display and keys are housed in one enclosure, the panel can be mounted directly at the machine for routine control access.
The device runs on a minimum 1 GHz processor, giving enough cycle time for screen refresh and communication tasks. A buffer of 1024 MB of RAM keeps program variables and graphic objects resident without repeated disk access. This helps the interface stay responsive when multiple screens, alarms, and process values are active at the same time. Data exchange with downstream drives or PLC modules occurs through a RS485 interface, a differential link suited for long industrial cable runs. Internal power electronics accept an AC input of 115 to 230 V. The same supply tolerates a 50 to 60 Hz line frequency, so relocation between regions does not require electrical changes. Key evaluation is handled through the ISP panel function, allowing predefined IndraMotion soft-key tables to run without additional programming. Backup files and operating data can be moved with the integrated 3.5-inch 1.44 MB disk drive, which provides removable storage for legacy systems.
