The BTV20.3PA-24B-55C-D-NW is an operator interface from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the BTV20 Machine Operator Panels series. It combines the display, keys, and processing hardware in one enclosure so drives and controllers can be operated directly at the machine. In machining cells or packaging lines, the panel supports parameter entry, diagnostics, and manual jog commands while reducing the amount of cabling needed between the cabinet and the work area. This arrangement keeps local control functions close to the process without requiring a separate computer terminal.

The panel follows Design 3 and uses a base system with a minimum clock speed of 1 GHz. The same board provides a serial field interface through RS-485 for direct connection to Indramat drive buses or PLC networks. Processing tasks are supported by 1024 MB of RAM, which is suitable for embedded visualization, data buffering, and recipe handling. Operator interaction is assisted by 16 machine function keys whose tactile switches can be assigned to frequently used program cycles. Power is supplied from AC 115 to 230 V, and the unit accepts line frequencies from 50 to 60 Hz for use in both North American and European cabinets.

Front-panel data entry is completed through a standard keyboard layout located below the display, and it shares the same sealed membrane to help maintain enclosure integrity. The unit is classified as an IPC, so the processor, memory, and local I/O are housed together to reduce latency during soft PLC tasks. For removable storage, it includes a 3.5-inch disk drive with a 1.44 MB disk fitted at the factory, allowing transfer of CNC part programs or backup files when network access is not available. It is assigned to Product Line 20, which gives it the mechanical format used for this panel platform while still allowing expansion through the field interface.
