Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the BTV20.3EA-56B-44C-D-FW operator panel, a member of the BTV20 Machine Operator Panels series intended for front-end control of machining centers, packaging lines, and other automated equipment. The unit combines a graphic display, tactile keys, and internal computing electronics so that machine states can be viewed and commands entered without a separate industrial PC. By integrating these human-machine interface elements in one enclosure, the panel simplifies cabinet layouts, shortens signal paths, and improves access to operating functions in distributed automation cells.

The panel runs directly from AC 115 to 230 V, 50 to 60 Hz, allowing connection to single-phase control transformers used worldwide. Working data and runtime variables are buffered in 256 MB of RAM, enough for multitasking ladder logic, diagnostic logs, and graphic pages. Nonvolatile storage is handled by an internal 3.5-inch, 1.44 MB disk drive, giving operators a way to load boot disks or archive parameters on standard diskettes. On the front membrane, 16 machine function keys offer fixed-travel pushbuttons that can be mapped to cycle start, jog, coolant, or user macros. The assembly is supplied as the MTA export version, which includes multilingual key legends and CE-compliant labeling for cross-border installations.

Within the BTV Panel family, design code 3 identifies the mechanical revision with reinforced mounting studs and a slimmer bezel. Membership in product line 20 aligns the connector layout with companion drives, which helps keep cabling consistent across an installation. The operating software is supplied as a separate sub position, so the hardware and software are listed independently in the product structure. This arrangement keeps the configuration flexible without changing the panel's main hardware features.
