The BTV20.3EA-28B-33C-S-FW operator panel is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the BTV20 Machine Operator Panels series. As an MTA export version, it serves as the operator interface for machine tools and handling systems by combining process visualization with manual control input. It connects to Indramat controller racks over system buses so the screen can present axis status, program data, and alarm messages during operation. It combines a display area with front-mounted controls so operating data remains visible while manual commands are entered. This makes it suitable for stations where program selection, status review, and alarm acknowledgment take place at the same location.

Electrical supply is flexible because the panel accepts AC 115 to 230 V at 50 to 60 Hz, allowing use on common power systems without transformer changes. Internally, the electronics use 128 MB of RAM and require minimum 3 GB hard drive capacity together with a minimum 300 MHz CPU. These hardware requirements support the operating environment, stored diagnostics, and visualization tasks without overloading the platform. The memory and processor thresholds are intended for panel operation rather than high-end computing workloads. A standard keyboard is integrated into the front bezel, allowing operators to enter values, passwords, and editing commands directly from the machine.

For direct machine interaction, the front panel includes 16 machine function keys for frequently used commands such as tool change or feed override. Program files and parameter backups can be transferred through the Smart Card interface, which provides removable storage suited to harsh shop environments.
