It serves as a centralized human-machine interface, giving machine users direct command entry and status feedback for CNC- or PLC-controlled stations on the factory floor. By combining a display, keys, and internal computing resources in one enclosure, the panel supports start, stop, and monitoring functions without requiring a separate PC or external terminal. This integrated layout keeps local control functions in one operating location and reduces the need for separate external hardware at the machine.

The panel’s base system has a minimum clock speed of 700 MHz, which provides adequate processing performance for real-time screen refresh and soft-PLC tasks, while the integrated RS485 port supports noise-resistant serial communication with drives or decentralized I/O. A memory capacity of 256 MB RAM holds the active HMI runtime, graphics, and buffer data without unnecessary delays. Power is supplied through an input range of AC 115 to 230 V, and the supported mains frequency of 50 to 60 Hz allows operation on either North American or European electrical systems.
