It serves as the primary human-machine interface on machining centers and production cells, allowing operators to start programs, monitor status, and adjust parameters without accessing the control cabinet. By combining a keyboard, display, and field wiring points into one enclosure, the unit streamlines installation and reduces panel space in automated lines.

This panel is supplied with 128 MB of installed RAM, giving the real-time operating environment adequate working space for visualization files and motion commands. The base system requires 1 GB of solid-state or magnetic storage, while a 200 MHz processor handles numerical control tasks. Communication to drives, PLCs, and diagnostic tools is available through the integrated RS485 interface, which supports point-to-point or multi-drop wiring over shielded twisted pairs. The power section accepts a wide input span of AC 115 to 230 V, so the same hardware can be wired to single-phase utility feeds worldwide.
