The CFG-BTV15.2B-NN-TB is a visualization terminal produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the BTV15 Visualization Terminals series. In an automation cell, it serves as a front-end operator panel that lets users monitor process data, acknowledge alarms, and enter commands directly at the cabinet door or pendant. By combining an industrial display with an integrated CPU, fieldbus keys, and a low-voltage sensor supply, the unit simplifies human-machine interaction and reduces wiring inside distributed control architectures.

The panel presents process graphics on a 640 x 480 px raster across an 8.2 in screen that uses DSTN Color technology, so legacy PLC projects designed for VGA resolution appear without scaling. A 5x86 266 MHz processor executes the runtime software and coordinates the eight machine function keys routed to the controller through the U2 INTERBUS interface. At full load, the electronics draw 50 VA from the 24 V DC supply, while the integrated auxiliary output can source 100 mA to power nearby sensors. Typical internal losses are limited to 24 W, which helps keep heat output manageable inside the enclosure.
