Designed as a compact operator terminal for machine tools and assembly stations, the unit combines graphic visualization with discrete I/O so PLCs or drive controllers can be operated locally. Within an automation cell, it serves as the human-machine interface by accepting operator commands, displaying machine status, and passing signals to higher-level control hardware. Its compact format suits installations where panel space is limited but local status display and command entry are still required.
Ten digital input channels rated at 10 × 24 V allow the panel to receive limit-switch states, sensor flags, or manual push-button commands, while its eleven transistor outputs deliver 11 × 24 V control signals for relays, indicator lamps, or interlock coils. A monochrome graphic LCD operating in Graphics mode renders process data at a resolution of 256 × 64 px, giving operators legible icons and alphanumeric values. Communication with supervisory equipment is handled through dual serial ports, namely RS232, RS422/RS485, which support parameter transfer, diagnostics, and related data exchange. To store application data and user screens, the device carries 1 MB of flash memory, and transient variables are buffered in 512 kB of RAM, permitting quick menu refresh without external storage access. The control logic draws a minimum of 7 mA from the 24 V supply for each digital input circuit, while the collective driver stage can source a typical output load of 200 mA. These values help size the auxiliary supply and maintain reliable signal levels during simultaneous switching. Flash memory retains stored data when power is removed, while RAM supports temporary operating values and responsive screen changes during use. This separation between retained storage and working memory helps the interface keep saved screens available while handling active process values in real time.
