The BTV01.4CA-32T-50D-AS-DL-FW belongs to the BTV01 Visualization Terminals series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Classified as a visualization terminal, it provides machine operators with a built-in display and alphanumeric keyboard for direct control and status monitoring in automated cells. A Pentium II processor runs at 200 MHz and works with 32 MB of RAM and a minimum 0.5 GB hard drive to run Rexroth runtime software without an external PC.
Visual data appear on a 10.4-inch TFT color panel with a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels, providing full-screen clarity for diagnostic graphics. Programs can be loaded or backed up through an externally cabled 3.5-inch, 1.44 MB disk drive, while high-level networking is available through the additional Ethernet 10BASE-T port. Point-to-point connections are supported by the COM 1 RS-232C and COM 2 SIS interfaces. Two ISA slots accept controller cards; one factory adapter provides RS-232/RS-485 connectivity, and the other position remains available. The housing follows Design 4 and Line 01, and it withstands static magnetic fields up to 6 gauss. Typical heat loss is 65 W and rises to a maximum of 200 W under peak loading, so cabinet ventilation must accommodate the full thermal load.
The front foil and keypad meet IP65 when panel-mounted, while the rear enclosure is rated IP20, indicating that the internal electronics require a protected cabinet. Reliable operation is supported from +5 °C to +45 °C, and the unit can be stored from −20 °C to +60 °C without damage. Supply power is drawn from a wide-range 115/230 VAC ±15% input with automatic voltage selection, allowing the terminal to operate on standard North American or European mains. The 32-key alphanumeric keyboard provides direct data entry for setpoints and file names without requiring an external PC keyboard.
