The BTV01.1AA-08N-25C-BA-NN-FW is a visualization terminal developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for operator interface duties within the BTV01 Visualization Terminals series. Positioned on the front of a machine or cabinet, the unit provides data entry, alarm acknowledgment, and process monitoring through its integrated keypad and display. By translating user commands into control-system instructions, it supports rapid interaction with Indramat drives and PLC-based automation cells across packaging, assembly, and material-handling equipment.
The terminal is designed for harsh machine fronts; its sealed bezel carries a protection rating of IP65, while the rear enclosure installed inside the electrical cabinet is rated at IP20. Continuous service is supported in workspaces maintained from +5 °C to +45 °C, and the electronics tolerate warehouse storage from -20 °C to +60 °C without damage to components or display elements. Internal power regulators, backlighting, and logic circuits dissipate a typical thermal load of 65 W during standard HMI tasks. The cooling system must also accommodate a possible peak thermal load of 200 W when every internal module is active, so fan-assisted airflow or a conditioned enclosure is recommended. These thermal figures help determine mounting clearances and cabinet ventilation requirements during continuous operation.
User interaction is handled through an illuminated keyboard with alphabetical and numerical keys, allowing direct text entry for recipe names, variable edits, and password prompts. System expansion through an ISA-BUS backplane is unavailable because the model is not equipped with an ISA-BUS adapter. The lack of this adapter simplifies the back cover and reduces the depth required for installation in shallow panels. The terminal uses Design 1 and belongs to production Line 01. Its mechanical dimensions and supported options are compatible with early BTV01 controllers used alongside first-generation Rexroth drive families.
