The BTC06.1A-N-EN3-FW handheld pendant is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the BTC06 Manual Control Units series. As a portable manual control unit, it gives operators direct access to jogging, program stepping, setup, and diagnostic functions at the machine instead of requiring a fixed control panel. Its polycarbonate housing and sealed keys make it suitable for machine tools, packaging cells, and robotic stations where fast, tactile interaction with drives and CNC axes is needed.

Electrical power is supplied through a stabilized 24 V (20 to 30 V) DC line, and status data are exchanged over RS-232C and RS-422A/RS-485 links for controller communication. Information is shown on a 240 x 128 pixel LCD display, while a polyester-foil keyboard with 48 keys supports numeric entry, axis selection, and soft-key functions.
