The BTA20.2-NA-SP-BA-BS is a machine control board manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the BTA20 Machine Control Boards series. Installed on a backplane, it interfaces discrete field signals with the INTERBUS remote bus so higher-level controllers can issue real-time commands to actuators and monitor sensor states in automated machinery. This arrangement allows the board to serve as a compact link between cabinet-level wiring and distributed machine control functions.

This board sources a fieldbus supply of 50 mA, which is sufficient to power connected INTERBUS couplers and diagnostic LEDs. Its module data word spans 48 bits, allowing simultaneous transfer of status, command, and parity information without segmentation. Communication travels over two remote bus conductors at a rate of 500 Kbaud, supporting deterministic telegram timing for stable data exchange. For direct cabinet wiring, the unit provides 8 inputs and 8 outputs that can support local control functions when needed. When all backplane positions are populated, the board handles 48 isolated input channels and 24 transistor outputs, which increases field capacity without external multiplexers.
