The BTA15 Machine Control Boards from Bosch Rexroth Indramat are configurable operator control panels designed for use with BTV05 and BTV06 interfaces in machine-tool applications such as lathes, milling machines, and machining centers.
The base unit supports up to eight 22.5 mm standard switching elements, and each position can be equipped with control contacts and indicator-lamp functions for application-specific machine layouts. The series uses an integrated INTERBUS interface with a 3-word I/O width and also provides eight potential-free 24 V inputs and eight potential-free 24 V outputs for external control devices and signal functions. Optional module positions add functions such as emergency-stop circuits, BTC06 manual control unit connection, and gray-code override selection for feedrate or spindle control depending on the module installed. BTA15 units are built for industrial panel installation with an IP65 front panel, an IP20 housing, a chemically resistant aluminum-and-polyester front construction, and an operating temperature range of +5 to +45 °C.
