The Bosch Rexroth Indramat BTA05.2-WS is a modular machine control board assembly in the BTA05 Machine Control Boards series. It serves as the operator-interface front for command and status signaling inside automated production cells, providing a protected panel where pushbuttons, selector switches, and indicator devices can be installed. The assembly is intended for the front side of a cabinet or control station, where manual commands and visual status indication need to be grouped in one accessible location. By combining a ready-machined enclosure faceplate with supplied mounting hardware, the unit supports orderly integration of control elements into cabinets that also contain drives, PLCs, and other motion-control equipment.

The faceplate has an IP65 rating, so spray-down cleaning and airborne dust do not reach the internal electronics from the front. Its overall dimensions are 318 mm in width, 112 mm in height, and 67.5 mm in depth, allowing it to fit a standard 19-inch rack bay or door cutout without additional machining. Despite the aluminum front panel and a varnished surface that resists oxidation, the assembly weighs only 0.74 kg, which helps limit the load on swing panels and cabinet doors. Five standard control elements from the ZB2 series can be installed, and the available clearances keep those devices within the stated outline of the panel.

A chemically resistant polyester film is bonded over the metalwork to serve as the legend and sealing layer, helping protect markings from cleaning agents during routine washdown or wipe-down procedures. Each operator device passes through a punched aperture sized at 22.5 mm, which matches a common industry standard for panel components. Six M4 fasteners secure the board to the cabinet, using screws sized M4 x 16 with matching brass nuts supplied for installation. The panel provides 6 installation locations arranged in a single row, and the 4.5 mm mounting holes keep the front hardware aligned across the faceplate.
