The BTA05.2-WR control card belongs to the BTA05 Machine Control Boards series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. This printed-circuit assembly is designed to occupy one rack bay inside an Indramat automation cabinet and provides the operator-side push-button and indicator interface for machine tools and packaging lines. By grouping start, stop, and mode-selection elements on a sealed front panel, the board simplifies wiring to the drive stack and keeps low-voltage signaling separate from motor-power conductors.

The front aluminum panel spans 318 mm across the rack and measures 67.5 mm in depth, so it fits shallow enclosures and still reserves six internal slots for plug-in I/O modules. Panel height is limited to 112 mm, which allows side-by-side mounting with other Euro-format boards. Gasketed push-button bezels and the polyester membrane give the assembly a protection level of IP65, allowing use in washdown or dust-laden environments without additional covers. Continuous operation is permitted from +5 °C up to +45 °C, which aligns with common shop-floor HVAC limits. Storage is permitted down to −20 °C, helping prevent damage during winter transport. Heat buildup is also constrained by the 1,500 m maximum installation altitude, above which derating is necessary because of thinner air. The chemically sealed surface helps prevent contamination that could bridge low-voltage contacts.
