The Auxiliary Bleeders series is designed to expand the regenerative energy handling capacity of ECODRIVE DKC drive controllers when the internal bleeder capacity of the drive is not sufficient for the application.
These modules connect through the DC bus and can be used in single-drive or multi-drive combinations, including systems with several drive controllers and additional bleeder modules operating together on a shared bus. The series is intended to absorb continuous regenerative power, peak regenerative power, and braking energy that occur during normal operation or emergency stops, helping the system remain within permissible feedback energy limits. The modules use a 24 V DC control supply, include status indication and reset functionality on the front panel, and are built with defined installation clearances and DC bus connection terminals for cabinet integration. Overall, the Auxiliary Bleeders series is suited for servo drive applications with higher braking or regeneration demands where additional energy dissipation capacity is required beyond the standard drive controller.
