These motors are air-cooled asynchronous motors used as rotary main and servo drive motors. They are typically used in machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, and packaging and food processing machines.

The ADP104D-B05OB2-FS0H-A2N2 is an asynchronous housing motor in the ADP series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It features squirrel-cage rotors and is cooled by surface ventilation with the aid of permanently-connected axial fan units. The cooling method works with air currents that are directed over the motor surface by air baffles. The axial fan that generates these air currents is a standalone component since it has its mains connection. The design of this asynchronous motor makes it suitable for flange mounting (B05), and its vibration severity level is S based on the requirement indicated in DIN ISO 2373.
