To be used in tool applications requiring liquid-cooled and digital servo spindle motors, the ADF160C-B05TA1-BS06-D2N1 is the part number of the main spindle motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for Indramat motors. The motor has a size of 160 and a motor length of C. Its design is meant for flange mounting, and it features an above power connector position. Not only this, but the power connector's output direction is in the terminal box at side A while the coolant is located on side B. It does not feature a holding brake but can still turn off in thermal emergencies with the motor NTC thermistor.

The ADF160C-B05TA1-BS06-D2N1 main spindle motor uses a digital servo motor feedback, which means it can be used for servo applications and liquid-cooled applications. The motor also features an output shaft with a key, making it ideal for a form-fitting shaft-hub connection and is suitable for torques of the same direction. In this case, one must ensure the center hole is located on the overhand and hub is axially secured. The shaft is balanced with the full key and has a shaft sealing ring. With the full key, the rotor can be balanced as the key is utilized in the shaft-hub assembly. It requires a balanced part like a toothed wheel to function and does not rely on the key's length.
