The ADF184D-B35LC0-DS07-C2N1 model is designed and manufactured by Rexroth Indramat for high torque applications. The ADF main spindle motor comes with a B35 motor design for flange and foot mounting in several (IM B35, IM B6, IM B7, IMB8, IM V5, and IM V6) installation positions. The motor is used in conjunction with the suitable drive controller and provides broad speed ranges and a broad field weakening range of 1:6. The motor takes electrical connection from the drive controller and operates at the nominal voltage of 322 V. The ADF main spindle motor delivers the continuous torque of 425 Nm while operating at the continuous current of 110 A at the speed of 1100 rpm. The motor is suitable for use in tool machines, printing machines, and reshaping machines. The model comes without any blower and uses the phenomena of natural convection for cooling purposes.
The model ADF184D-B35LC0-DS07-C2N1 comes without any holding brake and it is equipped with digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder for measuring the rotor’s position and signal it to the drive. The motor is equipped with a plain output shaft (with shaft sealing rings) to generated the continuous power of 49 kW. The motor is balanced as per balance class R which undergoes the minimum displacement of 1.8 mm/s while operating at the speed of 600 – 1800 rpm and while operating at the speed of 6000 – 8000 rpm the motor undergoes the maximum displacement of 4.5 mm/s. The motor can operate ideally between the ambient temperature ranges of 0 to +45 degree Celsius and its total mass is approximately 402 kg. The motor is protected by an IP 65 protection standard.
