Product Description:
The ADF160C-B05TB1-BS03-D3V2 is a flange mounted motor manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. The unit is equipped with high resolution motor interface. The output shaft is plain, balanced with entire key and with a shaft sealing ring; also has side B shaft end for mounted incremental/ absolute encoder. ADF160C-B05TB1-BS03-D3V2 has heavy duty bearing and falls in Balance class S. The output shaft is best suited for a shaft-hub connection and is specialized to take up torques of a constant direction. The shaft’s seal is rubber and it requires constant lubrication to minimize wear. An absolute encoder can also be mounted to side B of the shaft.
The ADF main spindle motor is liquid cooled allowing it to be used at any altitude above sea level. Permissible ambient temperature range is 0-45 degrees Celsius. The protection category of the motor with shaft extension is IP 65 at delivery. The motor has a nominal output of 52 kW and nominal torque of 331 Nm. Voltage supply is rated at 380 V and insulation class is F.
The ADF160C-B05TB1-BS03-D3V2 comes equipped with heavy-duty bearing which reduces its lubricant’s service life to under 20000 hours. The motor has protective coverings and a housing which resists water seepage and penetration by foreign objects while also acting as a contact guard. The main spindle motor works in accordance with the induction principle thus requiring no maintenance. The motor housing is also coated in weathering resistant black paint which can stand dilute acids and alkalis.
