The ADF160C-B05TA3-DD07-A2N1 is a main spindle motor manufactured by Rexroth. It supports flange mounting. In this type of mounting, the flange has a leadthrough drill hole which is used. As specified in the DIN 42950 guidelines, the motor can be mounted with the shaft facing up, down, or horizontally. However, when the motor’s shaft is facing upwards, water, oil, and other liquids must be prevented from collecting at the output shaft for extended periods of time regardless of whether a shaft seal is present.
