Product Description:
Bosch Indramat’s flange mounted main spindle drive motor comes with a plain shaft with shaft sealing ring, standard bearings and R balance class. The ADF134C-B05TA0-BS07-C2N1/S032 is equipped with a radial sealing ring as per DIN 3760. The seal is rubber and must be kept sufficiently lubricated to prevent stress related wear. The lubricant also acts as coolant to dissipate frictional heat generated at the point of contact. The lubricant has a service life of 20000 hours under safe operational capacities. Overloading can reduce the service life to under 20000 hours. With the standard bearing used in the unit the service life can be anticipated to be even longer.
Optimal operational temperatures are between 0-45 degrees Celsius but there are no elevation limits as the unit is liquid cooled. The motor is kept safe by its housing and coverings against foreign objects and water seepage. An acid and alkali resistant coating of black paint is also applied on the unit. The motor works in accordance with the induction principle rendering it maintenance free. Protection category of main spindle motor is IP 65.
The main spindle motor also houses the power connection with the NTC thermistor and motor feedback connection. The NTC thermistor protects the motor against thermal damage. The motor feedback connection is a nine-pin socket which is on the same side of the motor as the power terminal. Its position cannot be changed once the motor has been delivered. The ADF134C-B05TA0-BS07-C2N1/S032 should only be commissioned by trained personnel under the supervision of an electrician.
