The ADF132C-B05TA1-BS03-B2N1 is a liquid-cooled spindle motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The servo drive features a wide speed range with a broad field of 1:6. It can be used in machine tools such as printing, textile and plastic making machines. The control drive housing is protected against penetration by extrinsic objects and dripping water as per DIN 40050 and IP 65 protection class.  The recommended surrounding temperatures for storing the drive should range between -25° to +85° C. Always ensure that the servo motor is placed in a dust-free environment and wrapped in protective plastic sleeves that protect it against mechanical damage and moisture. Only remove the protective sleeve from the control drive during installation.

The ADF132C-B05TA1-BS03-B2N1 is liquid-cooled and can be mounted at any height. It has a built-in thermostat to monitor the temperature of the motor hence protecting the drive against overheating. The servo drive is equipped with a deep groove ball and roller bearings at the motor shafts. The bearings have an estimated life of 20,000 working hours as pa the DIN 662, section 1. Lubrication should be done regularly at the motor shafts to prevent them from wear and tear. The lubricant also acts as a coolant as it dissipates heat emitted as a result of friction in the controller points of contact. The servo motor also has a radial sealing ring at the output shaft to help in circulating oil uniformly during lubrication.

Lubrication of the control motor should be done regularly or after some time, depending on the type of load or operation. The longer service life of the control motor can be estimated considering the number of times the control motor is lubricated and the amount of workload that is subjected to the motor.
