The ADF104D-B05TA1-AS07-A2N2 is a Bosch Rexroth main spindle motor. This Indramat motor is a main spindle motor meant to be used in machining tools. They find wide application in various different industries, such as textile industry, printing machines, and plastic injection molding units. Along with a drive controller, they make a complete unit. When it comes to power range, these motors have a broad speed range. They also have a broad field weakening range of 1:6.

The motor can resolve the rotor position and signal the drive in turn. It can even detect a very small revolution of just 1/2 000 000th of a revolution. It features a holding brake. It can be used to clamp the output shaft into position when the motor is not working. This means that the main spindle can be safely locked in the machine tool itself. This unit is meant to be mounted on a flange. As the motor runs via induction, it doesn’t need any maintenance. This saves a lot of time and makes it hassle-free.

As this motor is liquid cooled, it can be safely used up to any elevation. To ensure optimal operation, run this motor between 0 degree C to 45 degree C.
