Product Description

The ADF104C-B05TA1-CS07-A2N1 is in the ADF main spindle motor series by Indramat. These main spindle motors are used in applications like machine tools. They are used with liquid-cooled main spindle drives and servo drives. These motors often find use in machines for printing textile and plastic injection molding.

Motors in the ADF main spindle motors series have broad have broad speed ranges and a broad field awakening range of 1:6. These characteristics are in conjunction with drive controllers. Speed and rotor position are regulated using the motor feedback mechanism. This measures the position of the rotor and signals that to the driver. The resolution is 1/ 2 000 000th revolutions.

At standstill, the holding brake can be used to clamp the output shaft into position. When this happens, the main spindle is held in place within the machine tool. At the Shaft B end of this Indramat motor, an additional position encoder can be attached to the B side of the motor using a shaft extension. The main spindle motor is maintenance-free because it works in accordance with the induction principle.  For safe operation of the motor feedback, an ambient temperature of 0- 45° C must be maintained.
