Product Description:
The ADF104C-B05TA1-AS07-A2N1 is an ADF series liquid-cooled asynchronous motor. It is designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for use with drive controllers from the Ecodrive and DIAX04 product lines. The size of the motor is 104 which derives from the height of the shaft. The motor length code is C. Longer motor lengths lead to higher continuous torque. The ADF104C-B05TA1-AS07-A2N1 is a flange mounted motor. ADF series also includes foot mounting motors. The power connection can be located on the top, on the right or on the left side of the motors. On the ADF104C-B05TA1-AS07-A2N1 the power connector is located on the top and the output direction of the connector is side A. The power connection position and output direction cannot be changed after the motor has been manufactured.
The ADF104C-B05TA1-AS07-A2N1 is liquid cooled and an inlet / outlet for the coolant is provided on side B of the motor. When water is the coolant being used, the power loss is 3.2 kilowatts, the coolant insertion point temperature is 10 to 40 degrees Celsius, the required coolant throughput is 4.5 liters per minute and the allowable starting pressure is 3 bar. The ADF104C-B05TA1-AS07-A2N1 features a plain shaft without a sealing ring, standard bearings and digital servo feedback with built-in multi-turn absolute encoder with 4096 x 512 periods. Holding brake is however not supported. Rated vibration severity grade for the motor is R. All ADF motors are dynamically balanced as per DIN ISO 2373. The maximum speed up to which the ADF104C-B05TA1-AS07-A2N1 can be safely operated is 9000 RPM and the maximum speed up to which the motor can be operated with rated continuous torque is 2700 RPM.
