The coolant is used for two reasons- to reduce the heat from friction, and to lubricate the contact point. It features special ball and cylindrical roller bearings with lubrication grooves. The motor will work for a long time, if a standard bearing assembly is used.

If the motor is not used for more than two years, allow the holding brake to grind in before operating. To do this, run it at a speed of 100 per minute. The motor windings come with an NTC thermistor for overheating protection. The flange of the motor is designed according to DIN 42948 standards.
